I've been over hwy 93 from north to south and most of it is pretty. Lot's of staight road and sometimes quite a distance between gas. Fill when you can. enjoy it.. Dave

You may already be aware of this but if not... There is a rally in Red River, NM over Memorial Day weekend (last weekend in May), part of the Enchanted Circle (Angle Fire/Taos. If your dates are flexible it might be something you want to consider. Either way sounds like a blast.

Looks like I'll likely pass you going the other way. I usually head out for OKC around the middle to end of May each year. My pop still lives in OKC. But if things shape up a little different maybe I'll join you as you go back east.
And yes ... us Utah boys will try to convince you to come on in a bit farther.
But if all you can see is the most southern points then you'll still do okay. Monument Valley and Four corners can be a good ride.
