No, consider staying somewhere else instead. There are plenty of places that like my money I won't spend money where its not appreciated.

Go to MB, obey their laws, forget the politics, and enjoy the beach....That is exactly what I intend to do in a couple of weeks.

I will go and do my thing in July as planned. Probably won't take the bikes this trip, but that won't prevent the fun from happening. Good info to have before hand though. Thanks all

Default bike rally

everything you want to see and do is'nt in myrtle beach. rt 31 takes you around myrtle beach.it seems the biggest critics are the ones that don't really know much about anything!alot of the bias opionions are not warranted.if you stay away,THEY WON(myrtle beach).just don't stay there and don't spend there.it's a good rally with alot of good people.the way to get even is to spend your money anywhere but in the city of myrtle beach!!!!!!!!!!!

Leave your bike at home during what's left of Bike Week? I wouldn't....Ride down and obey their laws in the city and you will have no trouble. I'll be there 9-16th. Look me up.

I live in North Carolina and my wife and I go down several times a year and we take the bike. We stay in Surfside as it is a little more laid back. We stay at the Days Inn, it is right next to the Surfside pier. We just avoid Myrtle Beach. It is easy to get around it. We still have a great time on the beach and going places.

Jabo or anyone else that knows the area...I've got a condo in Montego Bay Inn on the beach front scheduled (rented and already paid for, so no going anywhere else) for the last week of July...is that in Surfside? or in the more laid back area? Just curious. I am pretty sure we are still riding the bikes down there now at this point! Super excited and just want to know what we are riding into...

Looks like you are toward the northern part of Myrtle Beach not quite North Myrtle so you are still in Myrtle Beach proper. So remember to take your helmets as they still are enforcing their silly helmet law in the city limits of Myrtle Beach.

The SC Supreme Court heard the case in February 2010 but have not come back with the decision as of yet. Just wear the brain bucket and don't act stupid and you should be ok.

Check out the Beaver Bar in Murrells Inlet area as that area is biker friendly it is south of MB proper. http://beaverbar.net/
And beside the BB is Suck Bang Blow http://www.suckbangblow.com/index.html
And up north is HB Spokes http://www.hbspokes.com/
