Default Myrtle Beach

I'm heading down to Myrtle Beach, SC at the end of this week. Any suggestions? I will be down there for a week.

My best suggestion is to go somewhere else. MB is not biker friendly

Dont forget the skid lid. South Carolina is helmet free except in the city limits of MB. They arent motorcycle friendly.

The City of MB sucks. Lets support them in their decision to run off the Bikers and do not spend any money there anytime.

I never met a business owner that didn't like the bikers.
The city officials might be a different story. But I think
the whole situation was to eliminate the "second week".
Been there three times and wouldn't go back, because
I don't enjoy it anymore. If you enjoy the beach and night
life, might be ok.

I'm from SC and I'd suggest North Myrtle Beach. Not really a biker town. But much cooler than Myrtle. There's a place called Duck's there if you like to **** dance. All the great shops and restruants are in North Myrtle too. Jammin Leather is a good place to check out for gear. There is and outdoor mall for the lady, and decent places to eat and get a beer. And like everywhere else in the state, bo helmet law. Screw Myrtle Proper.

Unhappy awe man...

I'm dissapointed...we have a trip planned to MB,SC at the end of July and I was hyping myself up to ride there from Illinois. I don't doubt it would be an awesome ride, especially through the Smokey's...but is MB all that bad to where we should really consider taking the car instead? I suppose some are correct in saying it is more for night/beach life, been there a couple times ten years or more ago...but really that bike unfriendly?? yikes.

Your bike is good as long as you take extra bail money. Helmet Law, Noise Ordinance (That only a stock bike can pass) As said in one of the previous post, business owners appreciate your business. MB Politics and Law Enforcement love your revenue also (Tickets, Bail Money, Extra Fines for just being on a bike LOL) And their Jail there is not that nice! LMAO

My favorite bar for good music and good times is the Bowery.
