10 bikes left Green Bay Thursday night after work, stopping in Dodgeville for the night. Then the push in the morning down to Kansas City, KS, with a stop for breakfast at Poopy’s. That night we had some of the best ribs ever at Oklahoma Joe’s. Now I can say I rode 750 miles to eat ribs at a gas station! Saturday was ribs for lunch at R&M barbeque, better than most and then ribs for supper at Arthur Bryants Barbeque (a disappointment). Sunday starts the push back with a stop in Anamosa and a visit at J&P. Monday we get home with a total of 1536 miles, haven eaten our fill of ribs and all the whisky and beer you wanted. One bike down coming into Anamosa with sounds like a bearing going in the tranny. Now this is where friends kick in three rides after riding all day get back on their bikes and finish the trip to Green Bay, two turn around with blazer and trailer and are back in Anamosa and loaded ready to follow us up the last leg home. Thanks Tony, Mark and Scott. That’s what biking is all about
We rode up to KC last weekend and had some of the best ribs I ever ate at a place called Smokehouse. Really good! We rode up to Anamosa, IA last Labor Day. We really enjoyed the museum and JP Cycles. We stayed at the hotel next to JP Cycles. It was a great place to stay.

I have ridden to Trail, BC just for spaghetti. If you ever cruise through Trail eat at the Collander and order the special. We were too full to ride home and had to hang out by the river for awhile.
