Our first trip to Sturgis my wife & me two up on a 1200 sportster, 1500 miles round trip.WE had extra cusions and pillows stuck all over the place. Had the Time of our life!

My wife rode her Sportster cross country twice, first trip was about 9,000 miles in six weeks, second trip was 12,000 miles in 8 weeks. Go for it!

Thats a great trip. Nuts? Well... I've seen allot of touring bikes make trips like that... in the back of the trailer.

no sir... not nuts. I've been cross contry twice... It is by far, some of the best times in my life. Enjoy it man!
