Default Nice road in New Brunswick

Just an aside - I got back on Sunday from a week-long ride out to Cape Breton Island. I've been riding out there for 10 years now, so I have a pretty decent knowledge of the roads and areas. I took a different route home this time through New Brunswick - I took Hwy 11 from the Confederation Bridge up to Miramichi. Hwy 11 is pretty uneventful, even to Bathurst. However, in Campbelton, at the north end of the province, there is a cross-country Highway 17 that runs east to St Leonard, at the Trans-Canada. If you get the chance, it is a fantastic highway. It's quite long, and is full of sweepers through the scenic Appalachian Mountains. It would be similar to Hwy 6 through Maine that runs into Bangor from the St. Andrew border crossing. It's probably one of the nicer roads I've been on out east.

I grew up about 10 miles from Bathurst...nice area...I think you are talking about the road tha takes you through Amqui Quebec? Nice roads...I miss the summers up there but not the bugs or the winters.... Moved to Toronto when i was 21 ...been in the states for 21 years now. I like NC a lot down here...ride year round...45 minutes from the ocean and 4 hours from the Blue Ridge Mountains...
