Arrived back home Sunday night, exhausted from the heat during the rally and the ride home. In the 90's every day.
Put 3,846 miles on the Road Glide,
Had a blast the entire week. Iron mountain Road and Needles Highway are always a must ride.
Had a buffalo enter the road in Custer State Park. Came out of the woods on our left, stood in the middle of the road right in front of us, then ran up the road in the direction we wanted to go till it finally veered off to the right just off the road.

Sturgis week this year was great, very hot but can still deal with that. What was surprising is that we never experienced any rain the entire week while riding...that was a first. Kinda nice to leave the rain gear in the bags. As always, an awesome time riding around the Black Hills!
On the way home what I found interesting was how some guys who were trailering were driving. So what I find odd is that they ride too so they should know not to cut off a group of bikes in the left lane, and when moving back into the right lane don't come over so soon after passing....the wind buffeting can be kinda strong.
