Skowhegan and Eastport should be fine, but Bar Harbor and Boothbay will fill up quickly, so book now. There is a B&B in Bar Harbor that offers HOG discounts.
I'd ride up Rt 9 towards Eastport, and take the coastal route 1 down. Detour over to Schoodic Point, part of Acadia National Park, a great loop road and incredible scenic vistas, it's about an hour from Bar Harbor. Lots to see and do in BH, especially the park loop road. The lookout tower from the bridge in Bucksport on the way to Boothbay is worth it, and again, Route 1 down is pretty. You'll start to hit traffic in Camden, so don't be in a hurry.
On your way home, route thru the Kancamagus highway, Rt 112 in NH, that's a must see.
Plenty of day trip riding in all those towns as well. How many days ion each?
Thanks for all the assistance. Plan right now is Port Huron, MI -- Kingston, ON -- Montreal, QE -- Skowhegan, ME -- Eastport, ME -- Bar Harbor, ME -- Boothbay Harbor, ME -- Brattelboro, VT -- Lake Placid, NY -- Geneva, NY -- home. With a day/night at each location.
A stop in Old Quebec city is a must for 1/2 to a day if you take this route - ~3 hours east of Montreal. Oldest walled/fortified city in North America. Lots to see and do. Great place to eat in the summer as there are a ton of outdoor cafes and other places to eat. More to see there than Montreal IMHO.
Lots of great riding in the Gaspe.

If you go to Quebec City, there is an annual international fireworks competition held near by. It is at a waterfall called Chute Montmorency. We were there in 08 and saw the USA's show. With the falls, cliffs and fireworks,,,,,WHAT A SIGHT TO SEE. If you are near there you should'nt miss it.
definitely a +1 on this suggestion if you can spare another 1-2 days....
