Default Tool Kit?

What do you carry in your tool kit when you go on a road trip?

AAA card and cell phone. Actually I do have a tool bag that I have had since my Panhead days. I've never had to use it on my own bike but have for others. I've got just about everything you can imagine in it.

Standard teardrop shape tool kit, covers most of what's on the bike...a few added tools like the socket and ratchet for my seat bolts...e-tape, wire, zip ties and a couple of extra spark plugs. Haven't needed the plugs for my fuelie, but helped plenty of carbed guys out who were fouling plugs in higher elevations...

You can carry everything, or nothing, but one set of tools you may not want to leave home: Flat tire kits (including air compressor). Assuming you have tubeless tires.

cell phone, credit card and a flask of jack daniels.

If I break down, I call a tow truck, it takes me to a hotel, I borrow some tools, I drink and repair, then sleep...
