Pigeon Forge trip
It's not very far from here, about 125 miles but the last time we were in Pigeon Forge in September we ate in a nice restaurant and the little wife kept saying how she'd like to go back there and eat again. So we got up on Saturday morning and put on what we could find that would keep us warm for the 21/2 hour ride and started out. It was about 42 or 43 degrees here when we left home and it warmed up to about 65 or so on later in the day. Got there and went to the Harley clothing store and looked around a little stretching our legs then walked across the street to the restaurant , ate a damned nice lunch and walked back the the bike , gassed it up and headed home. We took the camera along but when I started to take a picture the batteries were dead, just my luck. Turned out to be a beautiful day although pretty nippy getting started. The leaves were beginning to turn making it that much nicer. All in all we had a good day. The little blossom was tickled and me I was too. Stafford
