Default Canada Help

This is my summer trip does anyone know of any trouble spots based on what they can tell/see on my route? Done lots of reading and I found one leg that is 340 but based on even more reading there is fuel along route. I plan on carrying an extra 2-3 gallons on a hitch rack.
If specifics are needed to clarify route please let me know the area and I will tell you roads.
I have made Alaska trip before but went the W route there (Cassiar) and took inner coastal ferry back to Prince Rupert home. There looks to be long stretches of nothing coast to coast.

Since you have made the trip into Canada before, I assume that you don't have any problems with your arrest record. If you do, Canada is the only place in the World that has access to US records that could prohibit your entry for relatively minor offenses no matter when they occured.

Noted on firearm and radar.

My wife and I are both fine in that department, neither of us have problems with the law current or past.

I liked riding in Canada when I went up to Thunder Bay in 2008. I can also tell you it looks like one helluva ride. But no info on the route.

Gonna be in the 14-15k range we plan on riding around Nova a day or two plus a few other places along the route.
Should be fun, we do a couple of 5-8k's a year and a 10k+ every couple.

Looks like fun, I'm planning a trip to Nova Scotia for August.

I've done many of your roads, the only concern is gas at night in remote areas- seems you already are mindful of that.

The lakeshore route of lake superior is awesome BUT subject to sudden and intense storms.
Worth doing if you budget the time for a severe weather lay over- other wise look at the "northern loop" through kirkland lake etc.

I live in Northern BC, right near the last turnoff to head North (the Cassiar-or 37N as we call it). If you have any specific questions on that area or on Northern BC, PM me and ill be glad to help.

Fantastic looking ride. Getting fuel will not be a problem, Just keep an eye on how far it is to the next town and top up as often as necessary. COST of fuel will be a bit shocking. Some of the cities like Edmonton in Alberta have noise bylaws aimed at bikes that are punitive and unfair so just cruise on by and don't bother going into them. Watch for very large wildlife on the roads and have a great trip. Helmets required in ALL provinces and the further north you go, the more bugs are going to splat into you.

I had read not all stations are 24hr in remote areas so we plan on shutting down at a decent time and filling up before so we don't get stuck in a need gas early cannot get situation.
So your thinking jump on 11 at North Bay vs staying on 17? Saves 70 miles and is the recommended route by Google maps I had to make it go other way.
Even mid Jul weather can be that bad?
