Headed to Glencoe 2011 Anyone else?
Hello all! I am headed to Sturgis for the first time this year(2011). I will be camping at Glencoe Campground. I have been reading about the advantages of arriving early so that is my plan. I hope to arrive on the 1st or 2nd. I am hoping to meet some of you Glencoe/Sturgis veterans so that I can get the tips on do's and don'ts in the area. If you are planning to be at Glencoe let me know! It would be nice to meet up with some folks and share some good times!! Ride safe everyone and I hope to meet you there!! Have a great day!!!

I've stayed at Glenco 4 times but last year I stayed at the Iron Horse Inn west of Sturgis about 5 miles and staying there again arriving on the 8th. Glenco is a good campground with the Alley going on every night about 6pm, take your camera! One suggestion , if your going to ride down town try to go kind of early ( 10 or so,lol) or the traffic is backed up and hard to find a good parking spot on main if that's what you want to do.
Arriving on the 1st or 2nd if your planning on riding much of the Black Hills should be great. Ride safe!
