ok a ? if your were going to co.this time of year would you take your leathers?

 

I take my leathers on every trip, no matter where it is or how hot its supposed to be. Better to have them and not need them rather than need them and not have them.

 

If you're going to be riding in the mountains you are going to want to have your leathers as you'll encounter cooler weather. Much cooler....

 

Last year in colorado it was 105 down on plains on saturday. Sunday in the mountains i was riding in 40 deg in July

Just got back from CO. Estes Park through Breckinridge 3 weeks ago. It snowed 6 inches in the high rockies / snow was still banked on the sides of the road. I would take them you never know when your going to need them.

 

We just got in from a quick ride. The last 45 min were in cold rain and hail.

Just got back from a 4000 mile ride through the rockies including colorado twice. Trip was colder than my trip to alaska last year. Trick is to set up your riding gear in layers so you can adjust to whatever climate you run across.
