Default Cheap spots to stay
I am planning on my first Solo trip for next summer. I am planning on traveling around most of the states on a budget and I was wandering if the cops would harrasse you at truck stops if you pitched a tent in the back corner... even saving the 20-40$ a night would save alot in the long run in between destinations...
or any other ideals?

I know the 24 hr. Walmarts allow RVs to use their parking lots. I can't see them raising a stink about a tent.

BLM land, Federal Campgrounds, County campgrounds are free or 5-$7 a night here in OR.
