Lake Havasu, AZ?
planning a Los Angeles to somewhere in the desert trip this weekend (leaving in a couple of hours)... never been to Lake Havasu but i like taking rt 177 and 62 and that seems like a good destination... any comments, experiences, would be appreciated.

sadly i was not off the grid. but the ride was excellent. los angeles to joshua tree then route 62 straight to parker, az and up 95 to lake havasu city. even had cell signal in rice, ca - a deceased town halfway between 29 palms and the colorado river (location of the sneaker fence).
