Just bought our retirement home about 10 years early. Got a 1881 one room schoolhouse coverted to a home just below the Peaks of Otter a couple of miles from the Parkway. Great riding area, can't wait for spring.
Great little creek and mountain boulders and no yardwork.
Yep, the Bedford side, just below the parkway. My wife is Caldwell and has relatives all over the area. Her Dad used to run moonshine in the area so she loves it. You in the area?

I do envy you! Riding the BRP from end to end has been on my bucket list for years, did it just a few months ago and loved every mile. Off topic, but the Peaks of Otter Campground was one of the worst I've ever stayed at(!) I would love to move up to that area, but unfortunately the wife won't even consider leaving the grandkids... come to think of it, guess I wouldn't either. Enjoy!
Thanks PPBART, eight of us also did the entire Parkway last year, it is great, 460 miles of sweeping turns and only put your feet down when you want to.
