Default Just catching everyone up......

Well gang, I can't even remember the last time I posted here and I have had limited contact with only a few.

I got the job at McKesson Corporation (they are #14 in the Fortune 500 list), so yes, they are a huge company (and they are still growing). I am temporarily living with some of the GA Crew, Dave & Carol, who have put me up in the carriage house apartment above their detached garage. Outstanding digs!

My new salary is beyond expectation and is beyond anything I would have acquired after many more years (if ever) at my old job in Palm Coast.

I work now in Alpharetta GA, living about 10 miles away in the Canton area. I see Patti every-other weekend; either I go down, or Patti comes up.

Our house in Palm Coast is on the market and we are getting above-average showings (frequency) according to our realtor. We've had a dozen or so folks through the place, and we know it only takes one to be the buyer.

I flew down to Daytona a couple of weeks ago to fetch my Street Glide. I had a great ride back up here, and a few weekend treks around the area up here are awesome.

I think this picture below is a decent indication of my local riding now.

On the map below, I am living at "A", the above picture was taken at "B" (Helen, GA), and the south-end of the Dragon at Deal's Gap is at "C".

160 miles from "A" to "C". Taking this route is about 4 hours one-way to the Dragon (hills, mountains, lots of slow-going). If we take faster routes, the Dragon is about 1.5 hours away.

Happy for you and Patty. Like MB said, get a big garage and a house with 3 or 4 guest rooms. Really miss you and Patty. Stay in touch more often.

It's great to hear from you Paul, I'm happy that everything is working out well for you. Maybe by the time my April trip to the mountains comes up, you will be settled in and we can get together and get a bit twisted.
