Thought some of you might like to see some of the pics taken on our little road trip October 24th and 25th. We rode around Eastern Oklahoma on the 24th, then Talimena Drive into Western Arkansas on the 25th. Hit Robber's Cave State Park also.
The first set of pics are along Hwy 80 between Hulbert and Ft. Gibson (yes, there is a real fort there). And then Eufaula Lake.
Thanks for sharing Danny. Great pics.
My wife and I are planning a ride to Arkansas next summer (Ozarks) and then ride through Oklahoma, Texas Hill Country and any other areas we have time for and then continue West to California. I never thought there would be much to see in Oklahoma but your pictures prove otherwise. So much of the South East to explore but I can't do it all and I'm trying to get as much info as I can on the area. These posts help explorers like me. I'd also like to meet as many forum members as I can also while I'm down there.
Is it ok if I stop in and say Hi.
I notice you are still in a t-shirt. Is it still that warm there even in late October? Sorry just a little jealous.
It was around 63 when we hit Robber's Cave area. And around 70 when we got to Talimena. I'm just warm blooded I guess. Wife was wearing a jacket. Most everyone we saw were wearing jackets also.
Thanks for sharing Danny. Great pics.

I'd be offended if you didn't. Let me know when you're in the area.
