Early June (weather permiting, my vacation time is flexable). Riding 2up to Harrison, AR. 2 rides out of there and then home (Peel Ferry, Bootlegger but doing it backwards so Jasper is a late lunch/early dinner stop). Here is my tenative route, Planning on taking my time and 5 days riding. Sister in Law lives in Owasso so that night's lodging is free. Decents Motels but nothing fancy.
Opinions from those who have done a loop simular. Must see places, Good resonable Hotel/Motel, and good food but nothing fancy.
Been thru there several times in the last two years, just about any road in Arkansas is worth riding on a bike. The Peel Ferry is small so you may have to wait a bit. The weekend of the 8th-10th is Bikes, Babes and Bling in Fayetteville so make sure you have reservations if you get close to that area............maybe you already knew that .
Have fun.......I'll be there that weekend.
We went the last couple of years riding in the Hot Springs area but last year we went up to Eureka Springs , I dont think I would go back if I couldnt go all the way back up to Eureka Springs , we loved it up there . We will surely go again this year if at all possible .
That's on the "day 4" ride. Down 23 to Ozark (eat) and back up 21 to Berryville.
Oark and Ozark are two different towns. Ozark is the one on your route. I've run through there and there's more to choose from as far as eats because it's a much bigger town. But, I can't say I have found anything I was crazy about in Ozark. Lots of Subways and McDonalds. That said, I don't know all that much about Ozark and there could be some great places.
Oark is as small a town as you will ever find. Really the only thing in town is the General Store. To get to Oark and the General Store, you would need to cut over on 215. After that I would double back to 103 and work that south and then east over to 21. Nice ride.
