Smile PA Grand Canyon

This is a big THANK YOU to Geezr Glidr and the others that have been discussing their journeys near Wellsboro PA. I just got back from my trip from New Jersey. I took the US 6 all the way and I thoroughly enjoyed it. As you guys suggested, I stayed at the Sherwood lodge. I don't think that I have ever been to a cleaner motel. It is a very quiet place at all times except when the gas workers start their pickups at 6 in the morning hahaha... No big deal for me... but just so you know. As for the riding, I did the Gezr ride backwards. I went out 6 to the Canyon (thanks for telling me that there are two lookouts...I liked both). Then I took 6W to 44S and went south to 220E to 287N. What a perfect day. For what it is worth, I saw a movie in the wellsboro theater on the first night. Cool old place. We ate at The Steak House in Wellsboro. Garbage steak that still tasted frozen (small portion). But the atmosphere made it OK. What an awesome town Wellsboro is....like a storybook. Its felt like they gave it a fresh coat of paint just for me.

Thank you everyone for all of your advice...PM me for any questions.
Thanks again Geezr Glidr.

You're welcome! Glad you had a good trip. By the way, I haven't eaten at the Steak House in years. Now you know why! Next time, try the Wellsboro House. Couple blocks off the main drag. About a 5 minute walk from the Sherwood.

Hi Doug --- Going to Serious About Sound, in Coopersburg (near Allentown) as soon as the guy gets my stuff in. Going with 6 JL Audio speakers (fairing, lowers, rear pods) and a JL amp in the tourpak, and gonna try the Harley Bass Booster kit. I'll let you know if/when I get into your neighborhood! Probably while on the way to my brother's, in MD, also.
