And now, we speed in the grassland, Xilin Gol, Hulunbeir, we feel boundless and free.
2oth, June, we left Gergentara grassland, heading towords the largest port linking China and Mongolia. It took us 9 h 22min to ride 633.5 km

Erenhot port
It's located in the west of Xilin Gol league in Inner Mongolia autonomous region. It's bordered upon Sunite grassland in east west and south. In its north, it's 9km from Zamin-Uued, the largest port city of Mongolia. It's the only railway port of us 2 countries and it's also the strategic pivot on the new Eurasian bridge. Erenhot city is also among the first 13 border cities first approved by the State Council.

Erenhot Dinosaur Geopark
Erenhot Dinosaur Geopark is located in Erennoel salt pond region, 9km northwest to Erenhot city. It is the earliest Inner Mongolian dinosaur fossil production place written into the international Paleontology history. 70 million years ago, this region is covered with lakes and swamps and the forest is thriving. It is the paradise for dinosaurs to live.
Since 1990s, Russian, American,Canadian and Chinese paleontologists and geologists have taken large investigation and excavation here, discovering dozens kinds of fossils, such as Euhelopus, Alectrosaurus, hadrosaur, Ornithomimus, Ankylosaurus and Ceratops. Mass of relatively whole bone fossils of various kinds are excavated. And here we first discovered dinosaur egg fossils for the first time in the world, thus we proved that dinosaurs are ovipara reptiles. Write down a brilliant discovery of dinosaur research.
For a century, scientific groups from mang countries came here to do researches. The outcomes of excavation continuously shock the world. Therefore, Erenhot is hornored as the "Cemetery of Dinosaurs" and "Hometown for dinosaurs" in paleontology field and is called treasure trove of scientific research.

East Ujinmuqin Banner grassland。

Boundless grassland with abundant river , green grass and groups of sheep and cows. Only the sky isn’t bright enough.

Zhungedabuqi Port
It is located in Gedabuqi county of East Ujinmuqin banner in Inner Mongolia, near No.1046 landmark of China and Mongolia. It’s on the opposite of Biqigetu port of Hebatuo province in Mongolia. In 1992, the state council approved Zhungedabuqi port’s seasonal open. Every Jan, Apr, Jul and 1-20th of Octo is the open time. In total it’s 80 days and open 4 times a year.

From East Ujinmuqin baner, we were heading north and riding for 768km before we arrived at boader city: Arxan city. On the way, we continued to enjoy the grassland view.

Arxan Port
National class-two port, seasoal-open. It’s located 45km from the west of Arxan city, the mountain beside the right bank of Numuergen River along the boaderline between China and Mongolia. It’s on the opposite of Songbeir prt on Mongolia. Arxan port is an important channel of Economical and Technological cooperation with Mongolia and Russia, enlarging exportation of produation and labor, and expansing open to the world and developing internatioal tourism.
