i'm planning a road trip to york pennslyvania this summer to tour the softtail plant. hasanyone been their, and what else is their to do while your their, and how long does the tour take. we're leaving from northeastern ohio

Yes, been there. The tour took a couple of hours and was interesting. If you can go July 12 - 15 and you'll be there duringGettysburg Bike Week which is near York. I've been there a couple of times and it keeps getting bigger. You cantour the battlefields, museums, and monuments (which you can also do any other time). Also, atBattlefield H-D there are vendors, displaysand bands as well as at the Allstar Events Complex. The Discovery Channel even had a biker build-off there one year.

We have been there a few times. Picked up our bike there in 96. Depending on how crowded it is the tourcould take an hour or longer. There are several things in the area. Candy factory in York. Battlefield HD is a really good dealer to visit. Gettysburg is always a great time. Spend some time checking the area on line before you go.
