My wife and I have done 2 to 3 week camping trips on a Dyna. After market bags on easy brackes. No tour pac. Small mountain tent bungied to the top of one of the bags for the trip from and to home. UPS'd big tent, lawn chairs, lantern, big cooler, camp stove, extra clothes.... to Custer St. Park. Park rangers dragged the packages to the camp site for us in their truck. UPS'd the stuff home again at the end of the vacation. Depending on where you are going, you may be able to coordinate with the campground and have them hold your stuff a couple days while you are on your way there. Makes a long stay in a campsite much more comfortable if you have some luxury items that ain't conveniently packed on the bike.

Cool. I think the limelight is Marmot. They are a top brand.

I just did some practice packing all my camping gear for Sturgis. I managed to get it all in the tour pak after a little bit of stuffing. One tent, two sleeping bags, two sleeping pads, and two camp pillows. I've got a big T-bag for the luggage rack for clothes. The left saddlebag will be for tools/ riding gear, and the right saddlebag will be for my cooler. I will strap my camp chairs to the saddlebag rails on the side. That's the camping setup I'm going with. If I like Sturgis enough, I might invest in a trailer next year. I'll post pics here of my setup when the time gets here.

More crap than I need. I love my thick Thermarests and 9x9 Kelty tent. I carry all the camping equipment and the OL has her bag and the laptop on her bike.

Try a hammock. I started using one this year. On my last trip I only used the tent 1 of 7 nights on the road. That was because of no trees. Now that I'm use to it I sleep better in it than on the ground.
It's small, easy, quick and for a mid day nap it beats laying on a picnik table. No more sore shoulders and back either.

If I could post a pic from the phone i'd show it. Next trip no tent, tarp, hammock, sleeping bag.
