Just got a Kermit chair. And, the leg extensions and cup holder. Very nice and very cool. Fits nice in tour pak or saddle bag of an ultra. Been a backpacker for a long time. Easy to pack for one person on a big bike. I have puchased nice gear one or two items at a time each year for, well, a long time.

If you want better than an air mattress it'll cost you check out the high tech cot:
http://www.aerostich.com/high-tech-cot.html
its 217 bones packs about 16 inches by 4 inches keeps you off the ground (no more soggy sleeping bag) or hard ground

I have Big Agnes sleeping bag designed for an air mattress to slip into it, it's very comfortable. Passenger grab rail makes for a good tiedown point if riding solo.

I've been known to carry a lot of crap, but this was every thing I owned the rest of my things were in storage while I hit the road for 9 months.

Those Big Agnes' seem a little pricey, but it sounds like they might be worth it.
This cot will solve all your problems.

Air mattresses suck, so do Therma-Rests.
Big Agnes make some quality stuff too.

It's all light-weight camping gear. The pack has a blanket stuffed in it for a back rest. Rides like a dream.
You can't tell me you haven't seen someone's OL on the back of a bike who is easily four times that weight.

This is a huge list of crap most folks wouldn't take camping, but you can edit it pretty easy to suit your needs.

Check out the Wolfman Expedition waterproof duffel bag. Big enough and will keep your stuff dry.
