I did Bean Blossom in June, for the Bill Monroe Bean Blossom Festival.
I friend and I spent three nights in Nashville, IN at a cute Inn called the Orchard Inn. It's just north of town (about 2 miles). Far enough away but close enough. LOL! The town rolls up the sidewalks early though, so if you're into the night life, it may not be for you. Lots of interesting shops in town.
Just south of Nashville, IN, is Brown County State Park. It's a nice ride through there. There is a nominal entrance fee to go into the park.
IF you go to that area, a MUST DO is Story, IN. A great little ride to a great little town.

It was like going back in time when we went to the Inn. There's a little pub downstairs, an awesome garden in the back complete with tables and a huge smoker where they cook the meat for their sandwiches. Upstairs is a fancy schmancy restaurant (reservations required) for those who plan ahead (not for me). Adjacent to the Story Inn is the Brown County State Park Dude Ranch. The Inn has a 'parking area' just for horses. If you go on a Friday night, there's an eclectic mix of bikers, cowboys and the hoity toity.
Have fun! Not sure how the colors will be this yeasr due to the drought but the ride was sure nice!
Edited to add: Doh! Just realized you were refering to the Bean Blossom Biker Fest going on this coming weeknd. LOL! Saw that was an upcoming event when I was there in June.
