Not sure you're allowed to tent camp at Glacier National Park, bears. If you can't, you might check with Bison Creek Ranch just outside of East Glacier.

Yes, they are my wife's cousins that own and run it. It's beautiful. I haven't been there since 1968 but we plan on biking through there in 2014 on our way to Washington State.

Tons! Ive lived here all my life. Been running from Big Ser to Pismo Beach forever. I think I've camped at all places in between. When you get to nailin your trip down ask away.
Kirk creak has small spaces. My fav is Plasket. Way more room but no showers. Pay showers at Lime Kiln though. http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=577

The lakes in Northern Idaho are spectacular and Lake Wallowa in NE Oregon is great. If you travel down the Columbia Gorge, switch over to the Washington side, it's 2 lanes and much more scenic. Multnomuh Falls on the west end of the Columbia Gorge is worth seeing. It's used in lot's of commercials. The Oregon coast is also beautiful but can be a bit damp.
