Getting excited. Have a meeting in Hilton Head this weekend. Leaving Thursday for a leisurely cruise. Taking the bike and letting the company buy the gas and cover expenses. Will take the coast up. Probably take an angle back through Atlanta to New Orleans. On second thought I'll go wide around Atlanta.

 

I haven't been to HH in a long time but I remember a No motorcycle attitude. Almost every parking lot had "no motorcycles" posted and threats of enforcement. It may have changed but you should check first.

 

The Westin I stayed at had an underground parking area which was cool. Not many bikes around the area. I did ok. Quite a lot of rain on the return trip. Had to do the return in a hurry, work was waiting. Twelve hours, 750 miles, fueled by Waffle House and Cracker Barrel. Last 4 hours raining like crazy.
