Weekend Ride ideas from Central Georgia
I've recently relocated to central Georgia and am a geo-bachelor for one more weekend. Looking for ride trip ideas for this Fri afternoon through Sunday. Sitting at home alone makes me stir crazy.
I've already been to the Tail of the Dragon and Cherohala twice. Looking for something different.

Try 28 to the south of Fontana Lake. 19 to Maggie Valley check out wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum. 441 from Cherokee to Gatlinburg. Any road to the right or left in that neck of the woods is a great ride. Always the Blue Ridge Parkway.

There are some pretty interesting roads in SWGA. Americus, Thomaston, Ft. Gaines GA areas are pretty nice. Not very much traffic....many towns like Dawson GA just northwest of Albany had more people in them in the 50's and are almost suspended in time. The hills around Coleman, GA (SWGA) are fun to ride as well.
