Sheepskin?

Sheepskin?

I tried riding with a sheepskin but didn't see a difference. Maybe I didn't ride far enuf. What's the advantage??

I did cross country in the summer and I thought it made a difference.

The “fleece” allows for air flow, Your butt can breath and sweat. Also it reduces the vibrations your butt feels as the Fleece will move, helping to prevent “Monkey Butt”.
I don’t see or feel much until I start to reach the 300+ mile mark. This could be due to the years / miles that I ride. I do notice that the more miles I ride through the year the longer it takes to “Feel” a difference with the Sheep skin.

I wouldn't take a long 300+ mile trip with out it. That figures out to about 5.5 to 6 hours of sitting in one spot with few stops. (gas every 100+ miles)

I don't take a trip without it on my seat.

Just curious, How far did you ride to test it?

I'm also a big fan of them. Not sure if they help me ride farther, but the miles I do ride are much more comfortable, especially in this blazing heat.
