6,300 mile trip
Just returned home from a 6,300 mile trip. We left from Indiana and rode toward California. We visited Yosemite National Park in CA then we headed for the coast. The Redwoods were amazing! We were surprised the weather was so cool. He wore our leathers for the next several days. We rode along the coast all the way north through Oregon and then up to Tacoma, WA. Oregon was absolutey amazing! While in Oregon we visited Mt. Hood and Crater Lake. We saw Mt. Rainier in Washington. We did experience brutal winds in Nevada and rode through two storms, one in Colorado and the other in Nevada. The storms were brief but brutal! There is nothing like riding out west.

Damn tringle, that sounds like a *great* ride! I sure agree with you about the redwoods, everyone should see them at least once. Like you I was surprised how cool it is along the coast itself. You should add a few pics to this post :-)

We are planning next years ride already and figure on going through northern Montana over the going to the sun road then across Idaho into Wash and down the coast as far as Redwood Nat park then north again back through Oregon into Southern Idaho to the Tetons then across the Beartooth and into SD to the badlands then back home. Gonna be a long wait till next year.
