But I really do find you entertaining. I can hang out in the back lot of Wall Drugs and watch you unload your scoots from the trailers. Then watch you "Ride to Sturgis". All 105 miles worth.

I think there really is a market for "Spray Road Grime" as long as it has the H-D logo. A couple of quick shots and instant street cred.
Never trailered a bike anywhere, but 2 observations here.

1. You put the "D" in Douchebag.

2. You wouldn't know "street cred" if it bit yer ***....

I think you need an education on trailers Buzz. You can have a pretty GD good vacation hauling your bike in a toy hauler, camping for a few days and riding an area. In the end it's cheaper since you don't have that expensive daily hotel bill and 2 or 3 restaurant bills everyday.

If you're interested in seeing what it might be like to do a trailer trip take a look at my trip report from last summer...

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/road-...ong-way-d.html

We rode California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado (Pikes Peak), and ended at the Sturgis rally.

My wife and I have done several long haul trips on the bike. Packing all our stuff with us on the bike. So we know all about multi week touring. I've gone solo on several long haul trips packing light, staying in my tent or a hotel. Most recently, me and some friends did a whirl wind trip up to Alaska. But trailering is the cats pajamas of touring. This summer we'll be doing a month long trip. I'd like to hit the east coast of Canada.

had to borrow my neighbor's trailer the other day...to take my golf cart in for new batteries. i ride when i go any where--but that is my choice. there are any number of reasons why people trailer their bikes. several bikes on one trailer should save fuel and swapping off drivers will get you there quicker. the OP is way out of line for bad mouthing those that choose to trailer. unless you are paying their bills, STFU.

And I do believe that these two postings have hit the nail right smack dab on the head ... Well said gentlemen!
