This was another great trip. Our page shows some pictures of our trip to Key West, and some links to some of the places we visited. Our trip started in Gainesville, FL our first overnight was Homestead, FL then the second day started our little vacation in Key West. Also on the page is our video of the trip.... http://michelmarciamotorcycletrips.c...ttrip2013.html
Great pics and video! What is the rig you are using to get those video shots?
Thanks for posting the link.......still viewing all the videos and just now seeing the Georgia one!
Glad your enjoying it. I am putting a link to my set up. Over the years the camcorders have changed, but everything is holding the camcorder watching the road ahead and turning the camcorder to what I want to film. Now it the last two years we have been adding video from the Go Pro. When you see us going from front shots to rear shots that all by hand. Hope this link helps you.
I was headed down and my clutch went out on I-75 1 mile north of the Griffin Rd exit.
Such is life. I will make it next year.
That's too bad, like you said Next Year! At least with Marcia's bike we made most of the trip, it was the part of heading home. Later on we found out it was the push to talk switch housing. We had a CB installed and got a bad switch.

I was going through your pics since I'm trying to convince some friends who are new to road tripping to ride from Ormond to Key West and spend a few days there. Pics help way more then my feelings and thoughts of how much fun I hade and how beautiful things are there. I came accross your pics of Natchez....great place. We also spent time at Bowies....Great story how we ended up there after being in a not so great part of town (thanks Mr ATF agent) .....love that place....and the pic of the bridge all lit up at night...simply awesome. Can't wait to,show your site to my three buddies that went on the ride with me. Will be checking out your site even more. Thanks for posting.
Michel T: When I got to your kayaking part, without having to see the gopro underwater, I knew you all would be disappointed with the condition of the water that you were seeing. I can tell you that wasn't always the case. It used to be paradise underwater as well as above back in the sixties and even up to mid-80's but pollution and criminal mismanagement took its toll. It was good to see ya'll had a great time & adventure on your riding vacation.

Glad you enjoyed the site. Now is the time with the Keys, years back I went in the Summer time, man just to hot, we still ride all year, just love the winters here. Yea Natchez is a neat place. Sounds like an interesting story.....

I think if they took us out to the reef it would have been a lot better. Their trip was 3 hours on the boat, I am one when it comes to snorkeling I can stay out there at least 6 hours just in the water. Still was a great trip...
