Calif. HWY 1
We are riding from Glendale (LA area) up toward Monterey next week. Stopping at the Hearst Castle, seeing the coast as far up as the Big Sur area and back to LA. Any suggestions along that route?

Nepenthe in Big Sur for lunch, Taco Temple in Morro Bay lunch or dinner, Avila Beach is cool, Montana de Oro State Park is beautiful, the Elephant Seals north of San Simeon are amazing.

Nepenthe in Big Sur is cool and Apple Farm in San Luis Obispo for breakfast or brunch.
From Nepenthe your only about an hour to Carmel. No motorcyles on 17 mile drive tho.
Town of Cambria is cool. Just south of San Simeon.
