I live at the north end in Nashville . There is a great place to stop close to Nashville called Puckets ( biker friendly ) it is at the Liepers Fork exit.. The last exit on route 100 is Lovelace Cafe Another great place to eat.. You can get gas at Puckets 100% gas... We plan on doing the ride from north to south this spring.

Following this thread myself. I plan on riding the length in April on the way to Texas, or on the return.

Hi Ridewva,

I was born in Grafton, WV and I have lots of family still there. I will be riding thru WV on my way to the MD DE Hog rally this June. My plan is to take my wife to my home town where she has never been.

Meriwether Lewis Grave Monument, mile post 385.9 is a good stop. I never seen how he died (1809) But I Google it found out he committed suicide. going N. it'll be on left.
get a map at 1 of the welcome centers.
I was on the Trace a little Sat. 50 mph sucks. & they watch stop sign. and I got bugs on my windshield.

I tested the Feds back in the 70's. 75 ain't cool. 50 MPH does get old, but it is a beautiful ride. Watch for wildlife as well.

My in-laws are moving to a town by Tupelo and I was thinking of riding down to Nashville and taking in the Northern 1/2, but the way this winter is going it may be Labor Day until I get my bike out. By then the snow piles in IL should almost be melted.

I am kind of worried that the Moonshine Run might be canceled this year since it is only 6 weeks away and they are calling for -11F on Friday morning.

I don't believe there are any gas stops on the Natchez Trace Parkway. You have to leave the parkway to refuel.

Gas stops going north out of Natchez with a full tank: Jackson exit old Canton Road about 105 mile marker. go south 1/4 mile and 2 gas stations plus KFC.

Stop and any of the welcome centers and pick up a free map and don't forget the patch or pin. Here is a link to download and print your own.
