I live at the north end in Nashville . There is a great place to stop close to Nashville called Puckets ( biker friendly ) it is at the Liepers Fork exit.. The last exit on route 100 is Lovelace Cafe Another great place to eat.. You can get gas at Puckets 100% gas... We plan on doing the ride from north to south this spring.
I was born in Grafton, WV and I have lots of family still there. I will be riding thru WV on my way to the MD DE Hog rally this June. My plan is to take my wife to my home town where she has never been.

My in-laws are moving to a town by Tupelo and I was thinking of riding down to Nashville and taking in the Northern 1/2, but the way this winter is going it may be Labor Day until I get my bike out. By then the snow piles in IL should almost be melted.
