Planning a trip on the Natchez Trace in March. Going from the southern end to the northern end. Anyone done this and got any advice for places to stay along the way or sites to see?

You should make the little side trip to Vicksburg if civil war stuff interests you.
Natchez is a great ride and you must stop at French Camp for lunch. (biker friendly). Very close to mile post 180. I make this trip 2 times every year and I prefer to camp. Free camping is at Jeff Busby and Meriwether Lewis.
I rode the Natchez Trace Parkway South to North last year. An excellent road with no commercial traffic. We stayed the night in Tupelo and hit the Elvis Presley museum the following morning before continuing on to Nashville. At the end of the Natches Trace highway is a place called the Loveless Cafe ( I believe). Great food!
I was just watching a very nice Youtube video on this a few days ago about some people in a group making the Natchez Trace trip along with Providence Canyon in Georgia. I can't search it and link it on this work computer but it was easy to find. I have been wanting to do a southern ride in combination with some Blue Ridge Mountain area stuff.
