Its a city in north California. Its 2440 miles from me, i'm looking to leave on the 20th of April to get their by the 24th, i have a place to stay so that's all good, would be their till about the 28th then head on back home. Im going for an OIF OEF veterans wall that 3 of my friends are on, that died in front of me. One of the guys mothers put the wall together and everything. I've never met her or one of the other mothers that is going to be their.

Have a good ride and that's a great reason for going. My grandma used to live in Ione. If you can, ride CA-88 over the Sierras either on the way there or the way back. CA-49 through Gold Rush country is also a great ride. Be safe and it's great you are supporting their families, they will really appreciate knowing you care and no one has forgotten their sacrifice.

Very light winter this year. 80/50/88 all clear but could be ice night & morning. 4/108/120 still closed but should have early opening, before May?

It'd be amazing to see 108 open before May. I don't doubt it with this past winter though. That is a helluva road!
