Whats the best way north thru the Flaming Gorge Reservoir, WY in June? I am planning a trip for this summer that takes my right through there. There is a US 191 to the East, but I also see Hwy 530 on the west side of the reservoir that seems more scenic. 530 ends up in Green River. I am looking for the riding experience and beauty. I'll be two up.

Anyone know the area?
Thanks!

530 is much more scenic. Lots of curves and great views.
I live in the Salt Lake area and ride that way all the time. I was just up there last week hunting. Hwy 191 is a better ride for the road lots of twists and turns and just all around fun on bike. A few good places to pull off and look out over the gorge.
530 to Manila Utah is not a bad ride, from there to Green River is kinda boring but it goes by quick. Watch out for troopers and boaters tho.
191 to Rock Springs takes you over the dam and over Little mtn, this is a fairly nice ride with many turns but I wouldn't call it a twisty road. Less troopers on this side and less boater traffic.
Watch out for cows on the 530 side, and deer and antelope on the 191 side.
What about the road from Manila to Lyman via UT43/WY414?
I'm thinking of a ride from the Provo area, up the canyon, over Mirror Lake Highway, over to Lyman, and back via Manila, Vernal, Indian Canyon, and then up US6.
