If they charge 12 bucks now to get in, it is well worth it. I was there about 4-5 years ago(when they planned on moving) and it was free, I felt guilty and bought a shirt, just to help support it. I can't imagine another museum to beat it. When I was there, Dale, (I didn't know who he was) came walking up, asked how I was and continued to give me and a couple a personal tour, grabbed an old bike, kicked it and it fired. The best part was after that, he took us to the shop area and showed us the "projects". The knuckle's and pan's just sitting around, pretty much messed me up for the rest of the day.

I'm leaving on the 20th to ride the Tail of the Dragon and see the WTT museum among other things. Round trip from North Miami Beach will be about 3K miles. All new for me, never been there.

Dragon is cool. I'd suggest also riding across the Cherohala Skyway while you're in the area, if it's not already on your list.
