Left last Thursday for an overnight camping trip in Acadia NP. I only live about 215 miles away.
I stayed here for $32, it's the closest campground to Bar Harbor and they don't take reservations and it's cash or check only. There were and usually are plenty of tent sites.
My wife would be mad if I showed her these pics. We loved it when we went up there a couple yars ago and stayed at the Quary campground. Very nice and miss it. Can't wait to get back to the mainland to do some of these trips. Great pics!!!!!
Those are great pics, good work with the camera...... next year my GF and I are heading that way and I will certainly show her these pics and it will get put on our list
Good to see you parked in the no parking zone for your last pic!
Glad you enjoyed the Park Loop road and our area, I'm lucky to be able to ride the Loop every day, and it never get's old or boring, no matter how many times I ride it.
Been up to Bar Harbor 3-4 times on Columbus day weekend. Stay at Bar Harbor Koa. Beautiful area especially in the fall. Nice and cool crisp air with beautiful scenery.
I would love to get up there with the bike sometime.
