I had a 2009 Road King & I had the Rush 3.5" slip ons with 2.25 baffle. I loved the way it sounded & received a lot of compliments on how it sounded. No longer have it due to crash/totaled. I'm now shopping bikes again & looking at used 2012-2014 Street Glides. I know they have cats in them. I plan on going with Big Louie slash downs when I purchase slip ons again. What baffle size do you recommend this time? stick with 2.25 or 2.50 to get close to same sound I had on '09. Thanks.

New for 2015 is the SB1 baffle configuration. This places a 3.00” baffle in the left muffler and 2.50” baffle in the right. It will help balance exhaust between mufflers and reduce heat reaching the right side muffler. We recommend this if you only plan on upgrading slip-on mufflers. Tuning is usually not required but we recommend checking with your local shop/tuner for recommendations specific to your bike.
10-15 -- SB1 (previous recommendations of 2.50" and 3.00" are still valid. SB1 is a new option to simplify ordering and optimized for stock bikes)
2009 - 2.25" baffle
07-08 - 2.00" baffle
95-15 with aftermarket headers - 2.25" baffles

I have a 2014 SGS with Rush headers and big louies with 3' baffles when I first put them on I had 2 1/4" then switched to 3' for some rumble when I go to the jungle. I like the sound of the 3' better. My last bike had Rush headers and slip ons, good sound and with 65000 miles on it still looked good when I traded it in. All that said if your going to make the changes you will need to go to a stage1 kit or big sucker (something like that) and DYNO tune you will be impressed.
