Default Sampson Orders!!!!

Just want to let everybody know that Sampson Exhaust has major issues with their manufacturing process, or something. They Told me the exhaust would be 6-8 weeks, well 10 weeks later, and still nothing! They will not give a set date on delivery, they have no idea when they are getting anything in, you get nothing put a run around, I have talked with several people, and dealers having the same issues. One excuse they gave me was they can not chrome in SD, well the moves was over 2 years ago, this situation should be straightened out by NOW!!!
Either way it is PI$$ POOR customer service. I for one have canceled my order, and am going to another brand/Manufacturer, I suggest the same of everybody else. If your considering ordering ANYTHING from them, be prepared to WAIT A VERY LONG TIME..... and take note, I order my pipes in the very slow time of year, so if its riding season, may as well plan on getting your order next season...MAYBE!
Sampson needs to be boycotted, until they get their crap together, and start taking care of the bikers who allow their company to exist!

Theres a few different threads like this with guys unhappy with there customer service. I have also seen a few where guys pipes ordered and shipped the same day. I guesse its a crap shoot ordering with the , real hit or miss. Its a shame too, they make a beutifull product. I have actually been thinking about getting rid of my v&h true dual long shots on my road king for wome cholo's, but reading these threads has kept me from placing an order. Hope it works out for you man

A quick google search shows that they moved under one year ago

They have also told me that they have an issue getting chrome but what I did was ask what they have already in stock, which is what everyone should do and honestly the sales rep should have suggested.

I am having the same issue with Samson USA and Racheal Price. I purchased an enclosed trailer that was owned by Samson USA directly from Racheal at their new manufacturing facility in Sturgis, SD. At the time I had to wire transfer money to their bank before I could hook onto the trailer. That was on March 21, 2014. I was told that they would mail me the title as soon as they found it. As of today June 3, 2014 I am still waiting for said title. In the meantime I have contacted them on several occasions. After approximately 15 phone calls, I have received two phone calls back. Racheal has not spoken to me since I left the office that day and today the secretary tells me that it will be another 7-10 business days before they get the title to send to me. Same story I heard two weeks ago when they were supposed to be sending for a duplicate??? I finally contacted the South Dakota Attorney Generals office and filed a claim against them.

Funny thing is, even after being in business in South Dakota for right at a year, when I was there in March almost every vehicle at the facility was still plated in California.?.?.? I guess they are different than everyone else, because here in Nebraska your supposed to plate your vehicle in your place of RESIDENCE.

Very poor customer service, no the worst customer service I have ever had. And this was on a $11,000 enclosed trailer, not a $1,000 exhaust system. And the only one to blame in my case is Racheal Price, boss and daughter of the founder, Kenny Price. I used to run samson exhaust, after this deal you couldn't give me a set of Samson Pipes for FREE.

I just wanted to personally address the issue with the trailer that your purchased from us. First of all Rachel has adamantly been on the phone with the bank daily trying to get the lien release sent to the DMV for you and they couldn't even find it in their system. She has filed all the necessary paperwork and finally instead of them sending the lien release directly to the DMV they sent it to us. We overnighted the lien release to the DMV yesterday to get you the title and should have it within the next couple weeks possibly sooner. This is not something that is within our control and I apologize that you have had to wait this long. We would never set out to intentionally make you wait to get your title. You made an investment in a nice trailer that by the way I wish we would have never sold and you should have received your title already but things happened that were beyond our control.

I'm not sure what you mean about almost every vehicle being plated with California plates. There are 4 vehicles here that have California plates but the fact is that some people own houses in California and are still residents of that state so they are not required to change their plates. Separate from your issue but because you brought it up I thought I would address it.

Thank you,
Brian

What is/was in your control is the fact that you waited over two months to start working to get me a title. If you had been working on this the week after I bought the trailer, then we wouldn't be having this conversation on here would we????? Rachel only started to really work on this after you were contacted by the attorney general's office. Boy really stellar customer service, you act like I should be happy that it's only going to be two more weeks to get my title. WOW! I hope you get the same treatment some day when you spend $11,000 with a company that is supposed to be as reputable as Samson Exhaust is SUPPOSED to be. By the time I get my title it will have been almost 3 months (if I get it when you say I will, which I will believe when I am holding a title) from the day I wired you $11,000!!!

NO ONE AT YOUR COMPANY SEEMS TO SEE ANY PROBLEM WITH SELLING SOMETHING, TAKING THE CUSTOMER'S MONEY, THEN DELIVERING ON YOUR OWN SWEET TIME AND SLOW SCHEDULE! THERE'S ALWAYS AN EXCUSE BUT NEVER AN ANSWER. You (Samson and the employees I have talked to) have never taken the responsibility for blowing me off and not caring about getting me a title. You have your money so why would you care that I have a trailer that I can not use? Oh yeah, I guess you don't. If Rachel has been working on this problem so hard and so diligently, then why have I not been able to talk to her or get a phone call back with an explanation? I didn't buy this trailer from the secretary, I bought it directly from Rachel and received her word the day I bought it that I would have a title within a week to ten days. The only phone calls I have gotten back from your company on the matter have been in the last two weeks (2 phone calls from your secretary) both since I reported you to the attorney general's office and they contacted you on the matter. Huh? wonder why you finally took the matter seriously? If it takes legal action to get something done at Samson, then I definitely would steer clear of Samson when purchasing an exhaust system.

Just my $.02 but I would like everyone else to know how you treat your customers so they can make an informed decision with their purchases and not have to deal with the frustrations I have and from the looks of this forum, others have as well.

I have a real pretty 34' hallmark lawn ornament, sure would be nice to be able to use it someday. Maybe someday I'll be able to actually license it and use it. MAYBE............

I actually wanted to put Sampson exhaust on my bike but after reading all the issues with Sampson I decided to save myself the aggravation and purchased a different exhaust system. There are so many other choices for exhuast theres no reason to have to deal with a company like this.

...Samson collected my money on March 14 . Nobody at Samson can tell me when the product, which is paid for, will be delivered. I'm now trying to get my money refunded and that is proving to be a chore. **** poor Customer Service. Never again.

My title finally showed up almost 30 days after I filed a claim with the Attorney General. Amazingly enough they even lied to the attorney general's office and told them that it was taken care of and that I would have my title in "the magical 7-10 days". About 20 days later when the AG called to check on my case I had just received the title via overnight UPS. It was "handled" but it still took 20 some days to ship "overnight" from South Dakota to Nebraska????? Can't believe a word they say. Lies, Lies and more unkept promises.

The AG was going to close my case but said they were going to continue to check into Samson USA. He said that South Dakota doesn't need companies doing business like that. SO, I am sure if anyone is having problems getting a refund for products that Samson won't/can't deliver I would suggest contacting the South Dakota Attorney General's Office. I was given their phone number from the better business bureau or I'm sure it can be found online.
