Default db's 2014 CVO Road King

There are plenty out there but this one is mine. Picked it up at the end of November new with 4 miles on it and this is my third HD. Just a few pics to show as she is now with the list of mods below. This is pretty much how I ride it most of the time but the windshield will go on sometimes as will the sissy bar if the wife is on. If anyone has any questions or comments I'd love to hear them via this post or pm and I will respond with what I know with extra pics if need be. Also, if you have a 14 RK or if you think any pic is worth adding regardless of year or model, please feel free to show yours. I don't care if the thread gets hijacked; just like seeing what others do as well which is what makes these forums so great.

Mods:

FM Jackpot 4.5" Pro Touring Mufflers
2009 HD Head Pipe De-catted (for 18mm bungs near heads)
Thundermax
Kuryakyn Aux Light Kit with Blinkers (Upgraded aux lights to LED and used Custom Dynamics LED blinker inserts)
Removed Stock Handlebar Blinkers
Paul Yaffe CVO License Plate
Black Quick Attach Hardware with Magnetic Covers
Black Mid Sissy Bar
Black Latch's for Saddlebags
Heat Demons Grip Warmers
HD 'Get a Grip' Grips in Black
Fork Lock Cover
Black Deep Headlight Ring
Engine Bridge Covers
Highway Mounts with Matching Hwy Pegs
Floor Board Extensions - CHANGED TO DIFFERENT STYLE (SEE BELOW)
Removed Heel Shifter
Lots of Bolt Caps
Removed Fork Reflectors and Seat Strap

Might be forgetting something but I'll add it as it comes up. I don't have any other plans really other than possibly a tour pak around March or April. I never seem to satisfy the hunger for more riding and I'm very much enjoying this ride. Peace.

Nice looking bike I just picked up the Burgundy blaze. 2013 RK CVO November 1 slightly used 2400 miles . Spring can't get here quick enough ! I like your driving lights and thinking about adding them to my bike .

Thanks and same to you. My third bike but first RK and CVO at that. I've always loved the RK's but never went that route because I would spend way too much making it the way I'd want it. While more costly, the CVO made it that way out of the box but for far less than it would have been.

I like the aux lights as well. They add light right where I wanted it. Looked at all types of brands including HD's but these look sportier to me in line with the CVO model and were less than half the cost. They really work great and are on all the time even with brights and no additional wiring for that. I wanted the blinkers off the bars and this was another bonus.

Question on the engine bridge covers. On my 08 CVO Roadking the plugs are not centered in the jugs due to the acr's. Has this changed. I wanted to install the chrome covers that I have had in the past (see prior post about being a chrome *****) but with the plugs being off center this wont work. Do you know if they have they made a cover that now fits?

First off, please post a pic of your bike....would love to see it and I do get some love all chrome and all black but I like a little balance.

Secondly, there is enough room to install the 'finned' bridge covers for both our bikes which is why HD lists them. The chrome ones you are talking about are able to fit but with some modification under them to make room for the spark plug boot because of the offset that you mention. I have found some that have done this on your year bike and you can't see the area that was ground because it's under the cover. I have done grinds on the finned covers for my previous bike and other friends bikes that have 'manual' compression releases so we can get a finger or tool if preferred to release those. If I wanted those, I wouldn't hesitate to make it work and I know they can.

Thanks db. Think I will give it a shot. Also I will eventually post up some pictures of my bike. Have been a member for a while and posted a couple a while back, but cant remember how I did it lol. (I know search the forum) I am currently in the process of adding 4"extended hard bags they are at the painters as we speak. I will post up some before and after pictures when they are completed. Thanks again brother.

You wouldn't have the part number for those front turn signal mounts would you. I want to do the exact thing to my 14. And do they come prewired or was there wiring invol bed? Thanks

The part number is 5029 from Kuryakyn and that is for the black ones. There is a chrome model if preferred but that is a different number that can be found on there website. I'm guessing that you are wanting the auxiliary lights as well because the kit is complete with the blinkers; it's all one unit. The stock lighting in the kit is halogen for the aux lights and regular 1157 bulbs for the blinkers. I upgraded to the LED aux lights from Kuryakyn and got the LED blinker inserts from Custom Dynamics.
The lights and blinkers are per wired but need to be connected to the bike. Everything needed is included in the kit.

Let it be known that it says only fits up to model year '13 but don't mind that. They fit as intended with no modification.

Some pics of when I did the install with and without lights on and with and without windshield. (No particular order)
