Trying to find out how everybody likes their Haymaker Projector headlights.
Are they bright enough at nite time.
been looking at them. And the people that I should be talking to are the people that have them.
Can anybody advise me on the Harley Daymaker Reflector and the Haymaker Projector as far as brightness and being able to see the road the best ?
Compared to the halogen, there is no comparison. Both LED models are extremely bright with a very white light. The added bonus is that they both reduce the electrical draw on the bike. Adding the auxiliary lights only makes the lighting more intense. What I'm trying to say is I like mine very much.
If I like the Evo 2 headlight, I wll get the running light.,
But i nearly never turn on the running light.
When I was in Galveston in the end of November at the Lonestar rally and my Low and high beam and one ballast on a HID light.
I was lucky I had the running lights to get me across the island.
And I Had been Partying a lot.
Thanks for the help.
Did the Lights fit in place of the old lights or did you have to have an adapter ring ?
Thanks.
I have the Truck-Lite Phase 7 on the bike now.
Looking for something brighter is why I ordered the JW speaker 8700 Evo 2.
Its in the 1600 on low where the truck lite is 13on low.
Fittend the Daymaker Reflector to my CVO RK a couple of weeks ago. Much brighter than the halogen the UK bikes came with. Couldn't buy a Projector in the UK as not EU compliant yet, although they are arriving on 2015 bikes. Very happy with its performance, don't have spots to a better light pattern for me. Good for day time running as well. There are some pics of mine on the cvoforums.com under CVORK sub folder, as well as some Projectors that others have
