Default Tire question.

Not sure if I should post this here, or under the tire threads. But since its a CVO I just came here. Need a new tire and I refuse to give Harley Davidson my money, and I can find them much cheaper on motorcyclesuperstore.com . On the net I've found my tire size is MT90B16 74h. Now on superstore I've found an MT90B16. It doesn't include the 74H. What the heck is the 74H and what does it mean? Can I just disregard the 74H? Now I know you're probably asking yourself "why not just check the current tire"? I'm not by my bike and wont be for a little while. Wisconsin weather caught up with me. Thanks!

74H is the weight rating. If a tire is the right size for your bike and meets the max weight requirements your good to go

Well I did find the right weight rating for the tire. Thanks for your help! Harley doesn't sell the tire but super store does. The cheapest harley tire they sell is 203$ The tire im getting from superstore is 148$. There is a motorcycle shop in my town that will mount and balance for 50$.

Big Amazon Guy here, when I was looking for Tires for my bike, a 2003 Fatboy, I went to Amazon, and was able to get exactly what I wanted at a good price and dropped off right in my Driveway.

Jimmy, 74 is the Load Rating and H is the Speed Rating....... H is rated at 130 MPH. I had a lot of Questions with tires and someone posted this link which I found very helpful.

Thanks Phatboy. I checked Amazon and its the same price. Amazon does have the tire I currently have at 2$ cheaper then the one im looking at now. I like the tread look of the Dunlop American elite. The Dunlop D402 is the one I currently have and have nothing against it. They both have even reviews on superstore so Ill just go with the American elite.
