Default Looking at a 09 Springer CVO

Ok guys, I am looking at a Springer CVO in the morning. My 08 X Bones has a 200 rear tire and the CVO has a 240. Will there be much of a difference in handling, riding etc?

Anything else I should look for? The CVO has 1500 miles on her.

Fuel management system, like all the fuellies. PCV with AutoTune should do it

Well a year later and I ended up with a 2008 CVO Springer with 4k miles on her. Still have the crossbones. It is the black and silver (slate) version. Trying to get use to the flatter bars. Thinking about putting apes on her but the cost is a consideration.

I had a 2014 CVO Breakout and went with the 14" Apes from Bagger Nation on her. That and the 3" Extended Reach forward controls made all the difference for riding comfort. I got rid of my Breakout and just bought a 2017 CVO Street Glide, but the first thing I did was order the 14" Apes from Bagger Nation again. Install is fairly straight forward on non-fairing bikes so you could save a bundle if you did the install yourself. Only basic tools are needed, and some TLC, lol. I would definitely go for it.

I picked up an '08 fxstsse last fall. Did not like those low bars! I ended up getting some "Wild Ones" extended, offset risers from JP. Did need to also change the clutch hose (Magnum Shield) (BYO). Everything was pretty easy except those internal wires are stretched about to their limit. Total cost, about $270. So far, very happy with the added height. Not overly thrilled with the "LOOK" , but a good trade off for the comfort. Now! I need to figure out how to make it a little louder.
