newbie SE question
I recently bought my first Harley. It is a 2000 Fatboy screamin eagle stage 2. I will attach a pic, although you probably know what it looks like anyway.
My salesman explained the stage 2 part means they actually go into the engine with modifications and he says I have a 95 inch motor now.
My belief is that a screamin eagle means it has a modified air intake and exhaust system, is this correct?
Is there any other things it does?
I am the type that likes to know as much as possible about things I own, especially 15k things and I am feeling dumb when people stop me to ask tech questions and am sure I will eventually be able to shoot the answers easily, but for now, would love someone to make the screamin eagle part a little easier to understand!!
Thank you very much for taking the time.

As Fireman44 said, you do not have a Screamin Eagle Fatboy made by HD CVO. You have a Fatboy apparently with a Stage 2 Upgrade. You have been told that the motor was upgraded with a Screamin Eagle kit. Do you have any paperwork to showswhat work was done? If it was performed by a Harley Dealer the Service Department will have all the details you need. Not a bad idea getting copies of all paperwork like that in any event.
If done right, your Stage 2 Upgrade will include a change to your intake. It will also get an ECU download. Get a Screamin Eagle Performance Parts Catalog from your HD Dealer and it will list all of the components in a TC88 Stage 2 Mod. Your exhaust is not stock but as you'll learn from thePerformance Parts Catalog, exhaust systems are not included in the Stage 2 Kit - they are added separately from the Kit per se.
Again, like Fireman44 said, the "proof" in the pudding as to whether or not you have a 95 inch SE 2 upgrade (aside from service paperwork showing the work being performed) is to get a baseline dyno run done. That should cost you less than $100.00.
Enjoy your ride.
Ironically, the dealer offered to hook it up to the basline test you mention for around 30 bucks and I will do it next time I am in for service
I feel that I got a good deal on the bike and they claim a guy had put a 3k deposit down and didn't return, which is why I was able to get it for 13k and it had 22000 miles on it.
One of the selling points, for me, was all the chrome, as well as the claim the previous owner was a judge for the antique motorcyle something or other.
maybe this will help
