Default Removable tour pack

Thinking about installing the removable tour pack kit. Looking into how hard it would be to remove and install the docking hardware on my CVO.

The docking hardware installation on my `16 Road King could not have been simpler.

My buddy did that to his 2011 CVO Roadie Ultra.
Relocated the amp and all the wires for the tourpak. Ended up like $800.00 give or take.

On my Rig, it was a lot easier, as I had to Build up and more expensive too, but worth every bit.

As for disconnecting, simple one Big plug, and now a small one.

Next photo is with my solo seat on and a plug cover on the plug.

Works for me!

Haven't purchased the service manual for my CVO yet. Is the amp mounted under the tour pack on mine?

I do not believe our late model CVO's have an amp under the tourpak. I've had mine off to install a relocator plate and saw no amp.

I agree. Looked under mine today and did not see anything. So I might install the docking hardware this winter.
