HD lists the 2017 CVO SG 114 as having 124 FT-LB of Torque and the 2018 with the 117 as the same Torque value. I guess when you remove the Twin cooling you need more CUin to make up the power. Looks like a step backwards.

Around 112ftlbs at the rear wheel. And a lousy 94hp. Pretty weak for a 117. http://www.hotbikeweb.com/2018-harle...lide-dyno-runs

They changed the frames and redesigned the whole line outside of touring. They added a RG to the CVO line this year. I’m sure next year you will see some sort of soft tail in the CVO line.

FWIW, my '13 CVO Ultra 110, dyno'ed at 110ft lbs of torque with just a tad over 90 HP. That's with Rinehart XT True Duals and the SE tuner.
I get about 40 MPG (highway miles) at 70 MPH and about 38 MPG between 75-80 MPH.
I've only had the bike to 90MPH twice as I don't care about speed because I know I cannot outrun a crotch rocket. I just want it to run well and cool.
With the cat removed and the Wards Fans installed my bike has never went into the "limp" mode or at other signs of being overheated.

Also, look closer at the specs. They dropped the 117 compression ratio to 10.2.
