Between them not working with you and not acknowledging the known issues, sounds like a good place not to do business with. There is a 117 out there with your name all over it!!!

The 2019 RG standard in the blacked-out gun metal grey denim ( or what ever color they call it ) already caught my attention.....
I have no faith in the dealership with the CVO.....if it's still there next time we stop in, I'll talk with the service manager about 110" motor issues.....
No biggie, I may just get a paint job on our '08 and continue on riding the best bike I have ever owned !!!

Good for you,the power of the feet.If it's not a fair deal for both then you walk away.
I'm in the process of attempting to trade my '15 RG CVO for a new model. My bike has 36k miles and retail KBB is about $26k, wholesale about $20k. I had new lifters installed at 34k miles for $1000 or so and that quieted the motor down. If I keep the bike, I'll be ready for new lifters again at about 70k miles, and that doesn't bother me. Like others have said, the improvements in most recent models are significant but lowered the value of my bike substantially. I trade every two or three years, so it's time to trade, but I wasn't prepared for the loss of value of my bike due to the substantial changes in the '18's and 19's. So I'm considering continuing to own my "vintage" model.
When I left that dealership last week I gave them a price of $30k for the 2016 CVO RGU
Yesterday, they dropped it from $35k to $32.5K.....
I told them I wanted the 2 years warranty, plus an additional 3 years tossed in, and $1k in HD bucks .....
They didn't like that, so I explained that bike was $43k in 2016.....dropped 20% when the 2017 came out,
dropped another 10% when the 2018 came out, and dropped another 10% when the 2019 came out !!!
That puts the price @ $28k......I then asked about issues with the 110" motor....."Nope, haven't heard of any what so ever", was his answer.
So when I left my price was $29k with 5 years warranty and $1k in merchandise spending....
The salesman said they had more $$$$$ into it than that....and I told him I'm not paying for their mistakes.
Some sucker will pay their price, I ain't that sucker !!!
No deal made yesterday............
Late to the party here but I'll toss in my pennies also.
Bike msrp was just right under $41k. Whatever dealer fees other than freight is bullshit. I have a '15 that was just under 40k and the '16 was about 700 more due to the fancy key fob and tps.
invoice on that bike was right around $32k so they weren't lying when they said they had more than your offer in it. However, I'm sure they've taken depreciation value on it sitting there for 3 years.
I'd hate to see what mine would bring in on a trade. I had the '11 SERGU that did well in holding value as that was the only year for them until '15. Repeat model in '16 dropped the value of the '15 pretty quick, then all the M8 stuff hit and values continue to drop.
I like your offer to them, Pretty damn fair. Too bad they passed up a sale.
For what it's worth I had a first year 110 in an 07 Ultra and I traded it with 59000 miles and the only problems I had were with clutch and of course the compensator. I had the chatter up top that at 2000 rpms was rather loud when I bought it with 2100 miles.( they said they all do that, that's normal). I flogged it pretty good most of the time solo and was 2 up most of those miles.

No word back from dealership....They didn't like my offer, someone may have walked in and paid their price !!!
I haven't been back to that dealer, so don't know if the bike is still on the floor or not....
I could check their inventory on line if I really gave a $hit, but I don't.... LOL
