When riding across country I would like to be able to charge my headset while at a Restaurant, Rest Stop or anytime the ignition is off. I could use the Battery Tender plug and lock the headsets in either the Tour Kit or Saddlebags but I am concerned about pinching the cable. It would be much easier if I could just use the 12VDC outlet in the Tour Kit. Is there an easy way to change the outlet from Accessory power to constant power?
I could run a new fused line from the battery to the Tour Kit but I don't like extra wires on the battery and not sure where the factory Battery Tender connection is made or I could connect there. Seems a waste not to be able to just use the existing Tour Kit outlet.
I carry the portable charger box that I use for my phone to do charge my headset. They're cheap and doesnt require any modifications to the bike.
Thanks, I have an AllStart Boost Max and was thinking of carrying it just in case someone needed a jump. It's overkill since it will boost up to 7.3L engines. But it's compact 2x4x8 and has dual USB ports. ....and can help others too!

Great idea, Thank you
Ride on... Just be sure to charge it and dont ask why I suggested.
